I really hope they get their stuff together just supplying parts for the sleds they sell, 2 yrs ago couldn't get a steering post for like 2 months. This yr I needed an a-arm and it is back ordered until end of april. There is a lot to be said about access to parts keeping these toys usable and...
I know I'll never snow check again, bought a 09 M1000 at the end of 09 for under 10k out the door and rode it till 15 when I snow checked a new M8000 for 15k. Sold the old M1000 for $5500 and it had like 5000miles on it barely spent any money on it besides all the bs performance parts I bought...

throw Bilstein 5100 struts in that truck, better than a levelling kit as the strut has an internal bumpstop to stop the front end from topping out. Better ride as well, I ran these on an 08 ram 1500 for almost 100, 000 km on some of the worst roads in alberta. Essex distributors sells them online.
there was a guy a couple years ago that used a block and tackle, rope setup with 2 sleds. Cost my buddy like 600 to get him to yank a dead m8 over the saddle

Looks like they aren't the only ones cooking up some new patents, good old polaris has a snow bike patent that looks pretty interesting.
I bought the Motorfist Blitkreig un-insulated suit and don't think id ever go back to 2pc setup. The breathability is amazing, I always run hot and sweat I have yet to be wet in this suit yet. Previously rode with the FXR mountain series of pant/jacket combo and I would be drenched every day as...
I found taking hydrolized collegen at night really helped my joints, fish oils I couldn't stomach. You wanna try something that will give you killer endurance and blood flush look up citruline malate, it really helps with lactic acid and you get a wicked pump off it.
ZMA, zinc magnesium...
If you have to get it to half throttle to get it to engage and it seems to be sticking and slow to disengage first thing I would look at is the 3 rollers on the primary clutch spider and the surfaces of your weights. if the rollers are wore out they will bind and be sticky to engage and...
I think half the problem with turning radius is the fact the axle placement is so pushed to the outer edge of the truck. They really seem to stretch the wheelbase on the gm products, it probably gives a stable ride but man does it kill the turning radius. And you are right, the steering is very...
got a 15 chev 1500 crew ltz 5.3L 4x4 6.5'box for a company truck, I gotta say even driving nice it barely gets 17mpg. It has major lag in the throttle under acceleration, and doesn't have nearly the jam my 11 ram 1500 had. It is a nice truck to drive and seems to ride decent. The one thing I...
My buddy had a great idea and I robbed it, black gorilla tape wrapped around an old credit card, you can pack a pile of it in a compact space and it can be a life saver. I like to pack zip ties and disposable rubber gloves and would totally pack mechanics wire and a chunk of hose on my next...
