Seems to me when sledders screw up a helicopter is on the top of the list of equipment to haul your sorry but out of the mess you got youself into. You people should also have to pay the bill.

There is what the dealer called a campaign or what's known as a recall on some 800 R's. They have to tell the detonation sensor to go back to original settings when you shut the sled off. Got mine done and runs way better.

Check oil regularly on level ground. If it smokes all the time it might need rings and cylinder bored, Might as well do the head too. If it only smokes after start up oil is leaking past valve stems.

Remove the carb and place it on a clean cloth on the bench. Have good light and go step by step. When you're done order a K&N filter and it'll really wake Ruby up.
