How was the inner bearing? did it fail? My 09 m8 was OK but my brothers 10 M8 bearing had failed. The cage inside the bearing came apart, and went thru the gears. No broken teeth but it looks like some of the gears are either loosing the surface hardening or they never had it fron the gear...
I've run for the last year, now it always feels smooth and no hang ups when coming down big hills. Before it would feel like it would hang up on back shift and not as smooth when taking off. I think it worth it.
I have a a bunch of it and want to make sure it will work. It's a synthetic same as the Act Arctic cat oil and ment for the severe use. Some people use it in older models, but there is not alot of info on it for a 09 M8 with eng reverse.
I have a 09 m8, and am wondering if anyone uses Amsoil 2000 in the diamond drive instead of the Arctic cat oil. I like the Amsoil products and would like some feed back from any users.
