Hey, does anybody know of a place near Sherwood park or Fort Saskatchewan that makes drums/tanks for gasoline that will fit this pump? it has a two foot depth and I believe the shaft is 2 or 02-1/4 inch diameter.
thanks.

Thanks 'Sledlift'. I don't need it for any special application and it only needs to hold anywhere from 20 to 50 gallons so I was thinking that I could find a standard drum that I could screw it on. I do have the tank that it came off of(100gal), but the inside is rusted. Is there anything that could be done to restore the tank??.

ive heard of throwin a chunk of chain inside and tossing the tank around and it beats the rust out pretty good . but also that was on "Trucks" and well everything goes smoothly on that show Good luck.

If its just a standard bung size on the pump, you could just thread the outside of the pick up tube and screw on an extension, then just use a regular 45 gallon drum.

i wouldnt worry about the rust .... it shouldnt pick up from the bottom anyway..... you could flush it out with water a couple of times and it should be good enough....
