did the factories start producing again or are they still shut down?

Local dealers not discounting because they say all they have to sell is whats on the lot, no replacements coming in.

There is a shortage of BRP equipment. Couldn't even fullfil all our boat show sales. That sucks big time.

Got 10g off a new Denali DRW a month ago. Had a better deal lined up on one I ordered but with the plant shutting down it pushed my order way back so just got one off the lot.

They have quit all together building the evenrudes going forward ?
Will continue to look after warranty and repairs but no more outboards.
My neighbour across from me just put a new one on his sea legs boat and dealer informed him .
Just replacing his older etec 140 and really likes them .

Hey do you mind telling what kind of a deal when ordering a truck? I'm looking for a 2020 GMC 2500 Denali SRW and wonder if it's better to order or buy from a lot. Where do 10g off MSRP land approximately? 85k? Also I'm not in a hurry so waiting for a build truck is not a problem.

Cheers,

Looking for a 1/2 ton (maybe a midsize) truck in the next couple months. Just thinking if I have to offload my current truck will probably end up getting the same amount less for it as I would off the new purchase so may be a useless loop to wait for. Not really brand biased other than no dodge so trying to see what I can find

Don’t expect much for deals- economy is boomin, just in different ways before this panademic. Demand is high for most items, just no inventory anymore..stop watching Trudeaus morning briefing- his head is up his ass...it’s all fake socialist news...will not help recreationalists especially the 2stroke kind.

please elaborate?

I operate a business in cgy. We are slammed like I haven’t seen since pre 2008 crash. Almost completely booked out for service work for spring/summer/fall seasonal this year. Phone, emails are just far to many to even respond to. Last 5 years we booked 4-6weeks out at all times. Right now we are booking clients for Oct. We’ve cut all advertising and stopped responding to requests. Our suppliers we can’t even get into. They r seeing to many residential clients. Distributors have modified and cut hours to keep up with online orders and accomodating contractor orders. Supplies are already low and the season just started. Equipment is unavailable For purchase or rental as it’s all completely booked out. Labour mrkt is slim as those who want to work r top dollar and the rest are taking JT’s cerb handouts for summer vacation. Everyone thinks that they should get a deal because of covid. Simple supply and demand. No supply extremely high demand unless u operate a restaurant, bar, retail outlet or airline....

markets are almost back to record highs before covid and western Canadian select is suddenly high demand. Worldwide oil consumption is back to precovid usage. Everyone in oil town has $ to blow!

I work part time at a rental business and anything to do with home reno's is crazy busy. Our floor sanders are going everyday. The pads for the orbital sanders are getting harder to get and now our supplier told us the manufacturing plant can't keep up with the high demand also and due to the covid 19 work place regulations

I've noticed renos also seem to be popular right now.
I think its safe to say that when you give everyone in a house minus the dog $2000 a month to sit at home people are going to have extra money to spend and there wasnt really anywhere to go the last few months so why not do home projects funded by taxpayers
