Went to a UCP town hall last night, hosted by Nate Glubish, wanted to meet the candidate, listen to his responses, and ask a couple questions... My opinion has been I would have preferred Brian Jean as the Leader of the UCP, but with people like Nate representing us, I think he will have the influence with the party to build this province back up to a prosperous, healthy position... He was a great blend of young and eager with a very thoughtful presence, he answered questions honestly, even with the odd I don’t know or that may not be in our Platform but is now on my radar.
We walked away feeling very optimistic about his chances to win this election, he has our votes....

I have signs in front of our Ranch...
I even offered to his campaign manager, Mitch that we would carry Nate in some area Parades....

Far to many orange signs in Sherwood Park for my liking, and the chatter on Sherwood Park f/b pages, far to many drinking the orange cool aid...

There is another town hall meeting tonight at the Colchester Hall 7:00pm
April 1st at Ardrossan 55 plus club and
April 4th Deville/North Cooking Lake Hall
Then at the Chamber of Commerce All-Candidates Debate April 9th....

I wish I could’ve made it out to that town hall. Been crazy busy working and helping with my fiancé’s business lately. I looked into Nate Glubish and I like what I’ve seen so far. There is another UCP candidate for Sherwood park-Strathcona though however? Seems like that would pretty much be another potential split vote and handing the seat to the NDP... I got one of the NDP candidate’s flyers in my mailbox, it ended up in my trash can fairly quickly!

Alberta fire fighters union just threw their support behind NDP and have $60,000 to help them advertise.
https://globalnews.ca/news/5108181/fire-fighters-for-alberta-endorse-ndp-provincial-election/

This is a third party group that was put together from members of the Alberta Firefighters Association... (not all departments are part of the AFFA) and they do not speak for all firefighters... it’s a cheap stunk smoke and mirrors thing, because a union or association isn’t allowed to back a party now, but the group within the group can...

Definately doesn’t have the support of most guys. It’s being pushed by the locals around Edmonton in concert with the AFL and CUPE unions there. They’re abusing public support for firefighters to advance a partisan left wing agenda.

A guy that works for me had a firefighter come to his door the other night at 8 pm. Looking for ndp support. That’s in gp. I’d say that’s pretty ballzy.

I’m not sure what the plan is here. Gp has seen its fair share of money put into schools and the government sectors, necessity’s for life. You won’t need a big hospital in grande prairie if there’s no one to use it.

I heard their candidate is a firefighter... could be wrong though, I can’t remember his name or I’d search it.

Hard to break people that are brainwashed, Ive been trying and my head hurts from beating my head against the wall.

It is hard to get a govt paid employee at any level to understand that they do not add to the tax base pool of money that is required to run this socialist equality program that the NDP wants to run.
260,000 ish bleeding g the base pot.
A govt employee gets paid by taxes from non- govt employees, private sector business, royalties.
Government employees get paid from this tax pool and THEN pay taxes. They are just a recirculation of what was already there.

Some of them actually believe the government actually creates their own money....I am not kidding.
Where the entitlement of what they deserve like untouchable wages and crazy high pensions that the rest of us pay for .....I just have no idea what bounces around in some of those melons.
An outrageous amount of civil servants for a province of this size - more than any other province - gorging themselves on what is provided by others.
Yes they provide a service but so do the rest of us working slobs - privatizing of many civil divisions is desperately needed or there will be no end.
No govermeil division of anything has ever been as efficient as the private sector has been.
And they are the first to whine strike and cry about their woe is me......
They bleed the base pool they never add to the base pool by where their pay cheque comes from......just recirculators.

Most of their heads will explode before they agree and vote for some one who will make this province accountable for its debt and not continue to sink the ship and not take part in what is required.
Just really f'd up world of entitlement.
