Curious if anyone has tried the 9116M Camoplast. Seems like a option if you can find one. 162"x16"x3" 3.0 pitch. More lugs, wider than G4 and stiffer than the T3. 2 ply which would is better. Little heavier. Can still buy the 9115M which is the 174"x16" version. I bet this is the track to run on a G4 !

I will be trying to install a T3 174 track in a 175 G4 this morning. Swapped the drivers of course to Wahl 7T, same diameter as the 3.5". I'm a little nervous that skid is going to go back in....I had contemplated using 8T, no way they would have fit without shortening the rails.

I’m Interested to hear if this is going to work. I think a 174 in a 175 will be good, but a 163 on 165 rails may be tight.

The 174 T3 track with 3" 7T drivers will go in the 175 G4 with no rail modifications, you will have a small amount of adjustment.

Not so with 165 G4, you need to shorten rails, different rails, whatever it will not bolt back in. I'm referring to the T3 track, any 3 pitch track will not bolt in with 165 rails.

Wont bolt in ? Or rails hit the back ? Can someone confim about the durometer of the T3 vs G4 ? Big John told me the the T3 track is actually stiffer than G4. He also says the T3 and Challenger Extreme 9116 or 9115 is the same durometer aka the exact same track with more clearance slits. Same exact mold. Any thoughts ? Also the T3 should have 7 more rows of paddles than the G4. Also 16” width of paddle vs 15” of the G4. Had to be some gain there.

T3 track is a stiffer tougher track over the G4. The camso challenger extreme is the same at the BRP T3 track but I do t think it has the track windows.

The loss is the increased weight of the T3 track over the G4 track, and the loss in traction with the T3 track with the 3.0pitch.

I sort of know of some guys who did the 9115 in 174 over the 165 and 175 and said it was day and night difference. Im gonna do the experiment. As soon as our Revy snow gets fixed im gonna ride the 165 all day. Then switch out to a 163 quickly and run it all day and see what the story really is.

163 on 165 rails??? That won’t work without a rail swap.

I have a 165 that’s trimmed to 15 1/4 width so now it’s kinda flush with the paddles , and it’s fully clipped. One of those things I wanted to try.

Has anyone tried a 9448M. X3 165x16x3”
3.5 pitch ?
That's interesting. That is a new track for this year. Appears to be the older xm style (challenger extreme), but in G4 specs.
The 9433M is gone, as well as all the sizes of that model (250LX) on the 2022 Camso specs pdf, but still shows up on the website.
I wonder if this is an indication of changes to the oem track brp uses?

Ya its new. Releases in Jan looks like. 15.75” wide. Fully clipped. 2 year warranty. Couple pounds heavier. The 300LX track is the stock G4 track pretty much. Think that 9448M may be the ticket. Hopefully it holds up.

About time there was a alternative on the market.
I would do that 3.5” pitch track before I’d switch consider a 3.0p. Hopefully it’s more durable than the doo track.
