I'm coming off of an '08 XP 154 onto a '16 XM 163, just wondering if the running board stiffeners are needed on these new sleds as well? Also, are the bolts staying in the Y pipes nowadays or do they need to pulled and put the nordlock washers on them?
Thanks in advance.

I am around 250 pounds and if you don't abuse the boards, you should be ok.. Mine are straight as an arrow.

They have fixed those y-pipe bolts a while back.

The exhaust manifold bolts are no issues (although some claim they had some coming out on their t3's ) I've yet to see it. They are 8mm and have been since 2010

We have not had any issues with exhaust bolts either. I've talked to a couple other guys as well and no issues.

Seems to be a hit and miss deal still. Maybe I'll play it safe and put nordlocks on right off the giddy up, peace of mind.

I picked up my snowcheck Friday morning...wow! Big difference in the running boards, I'm not concerned at all now, way beefier than the '08's. I put the wheel kit in near the front of the skid. Super stoked for the snow now.
