Petro-Canada opening in Mcbride

A new petro-canada is currently under construction in mcbride. This is beside the husky across the service road close towards north country. This will have a Subway as well and by the looks of thinks this should open in the early winter.

Pretty much all fuel over 91 will have ethanol in it. Ethanol helps with raising the octane. Pulled this from their site.

Does Ultra 94 contain ethanol? Does Petro-Canada still offer an ethanol-free gasoline?
Ultra 94 contains ethanol. Due to the fact that various fuel grades are blended at the point of sale, most grades of Petro-Canada fuel may now contain up to 10% ethanol. This represents a change from the previous state, where premium fuel was ethanol-free at Petro-Canada.

Husky has boat fuel no need to burn ethonal fuel. 91octane marked fuel. Been burning it for as long as I can remember and never had a problem.

Same dye as in farm fuel, used to have about one cup to a 500gallon tank, no record of it ever affecting engines that burn thousands of gallons a year. No affect on filters either.
Husky marked pumps are on the side of the store not out front.

I have used both ethonal and marked fuel that is legal to use in BC - never had an issue with either.

Being a farmer myself I have burnt thousands of gallons of dyed fuel and have yet to see it plug anything. Anything sitting for a long period of time will gum up.

I have never ever seen a fuel stop check, but doesn't that dye coat the tank of your vehicle and take a couple more tanks to get ride of it?

Lol, I have equipment that has never seen clear fuel. The dye is nothing guys, old wives tale that it clogs stuff.

Dyed farm fuel in alberta used to have stabil in it, not sure what is in the BC stuff. Have yet to have gummed up carbs from toys sitting season to season since having first sled in 1974 using dyed fuel. Now if you leave stuff sit 2-3 years..........shelac!
Have yet to see purple on any parts pulled apart, just not that much dye in the gas.
