Xm or pro? Why

where is the proof of "gets on the snow better" thats just downright false. especially this year a t3 vs a pro 163 i think we know whos going to come out ahead from a dead stop in the deep suff

Different Situations will = Different Results!

Isn't it about time to drop the glue argument? Your vehicle has been glued together for years, and Polaris seems to have fixed what few issues they had with the glue on some of the sleds.

Sent a long time ago, from a Galaxy S5 far far away.

Glue thing is applied alot more to the Polaris than the XM or the T3 . As for Poo coming out in the deep quicker than the Doo matter of opinion. Just answering the question and in my 30 so yrs experience with snow machines Doo wins my vote anytime but I am bais.

I don't imagine, the Pro guys probably were up there before the snow got so hard, your footprints weren't even sinking in. Those XMs are a bit of a handful in set up snow like that eh . Lol.

Was April 9 th and there was some POW we took the best guide and found the best snow. All the Poos were way below at Mustang we were up a bit higher and if that was a poo standing on its tail there would have only been pieces left at the bottom. Not many have been where this was taken. This season the next one on the list just a little west. This is the top of the cornice Lenny and most times its pretty setup on those features. Let me guess Lenny ur a Poo rider I can tell by your avitar, lol

Nope , you're wrong about that , ............... Also. LOL. But been on a few Pro's, It probably wouldn't have had the skis stuck in the air wheelying uncontrollably cause it's on an incline. Same traits as in the meadows, great sled but has its wrinkles , like all of them.

Yah yah yah the guy coming off the XM was one of the Global well service guys his first time in bigger stuff so the mistake was minimal for his experience sled stuck on the landing so he did ok. Would have been better had he stayed on it. Rene Kris amd myself caught some air at the top its a steep cornice at this location. Jared should have some interesting input on the Poo his is still at Linder getting sorted out. Considerably less wrinkles in the Doo than the Poo forsure. Wrong is a matter of opinion and like a holes everyone has one Lenny I see yours has prolapsed lol.

Well, the specific sled at Lindermans youre speaking of has a big bore on it, and probably controller issues, so lets not leave strategic issues out just to be able to brand bash OK....lots of guys running the Poos and not having any issues. I know of a couple PAR 910ès that will absolutely lay a smack down on any stock Doo and wont have a problem leaving the T3s behind either. If someone with minimal experience managed to make it to the top of that hill in your picture, I seriously doubt any capable rider with a Pro would not be able to toss it off the cornice also. Been at lots of the tops of hills with no one else around, I could toss up lots of pics and show you where the Doos are, down at the bottom....wayyyyyyy down. Could also omit specifics about amount of ponies under the hood too, so not a fair comparison by any stretch.

Oh but right you would have some dumb assed reason as to why the Doo is better.

Yah yah yah. Great story, one time at band camp. And I suggest if you want to talk a holes , the reason yours would be in better shape may be the fact it gets far more exercise , seeing you talk out of it constantly.

heres my opinion on them as ive rode both and currently have a 14 rmk. Yes it is bigbored and bb runs like crap right now so we will leave power out. POO Pros- Gets out of snow quicker and easier from dead stop and the clutch and engagement are nice and smooth. Once on side it does hold a sidehill bit better but found my xm bit easier to get onto edge but also a lot tippier so it required me to actually balance the sled where as the poo feels like it can be put on cruise control and sidehill it. other than that not having much else good to say shes been a lemon. Pro Cons- Lightweight in showroom once packed with snow shes just as heavy as a doo or cat. plastics are terrble and the hold down clips are always falling out, glued together A-Arms do come un glued making for a real fun ride, Bumpers snap with ease and tunnels even crease and bend from lifting them out of being stuck. Carbon uprights under hood have a tendency to bust on ya.

The only Con I had for my Doo was it still had the tendency to pull you down hill when sidehilling. I felt good on my doo felt like it was a quality built machine good power and could take the abuse. even my 11 etec fires first pull everytime. If I could buy a sled this year it would be an XM the pro just feels like a cheap chinese brand toy.

Thanks for the info. What is it about the XM that makes you feel like it is pulling you downhill during a sidehill. Like the sled itself wants to pull downhill, or pull your body position over?

My own view on the diving Doo is the front end is not stretched out enough.

The T3 went a little to try and correct it with the RAS but I don't think it's enough. (Comparing it to what I like about the Pro)

Balance point on the flat ground is great but find it really tippy on sidehills it makes me have to be constantly adjusting my weight transfer not much but enough to keep the front from wanting to pull to the downslope. That being said I found it is easier to whip a 180 in the middle of a hill with my xm then my pro. I also don't like how big and bulky the front end on the pro is it still makes me feel like I'm riding a sled from the 90's where the doo I feel like I'm on a dirt bike.

The one I was waiting for and hey beeotches I retracted the statement when I put up the pic so blow me. Fact is Dont see near as many poos out as Doos thats putting on 2500k last season. Rene had 14000k on 3 diff XM's last winter Geoff Kyle XM get chit kicked constantly and holds up. Hear tell J blew his up late last season with over 10000k the etec will out last the Poo power plant. Price if ya want the same warranty as Doo add 2 yrs to Poo warranty pretty close to same price as the Doo all in with 4yr.
