The only concern I have was the start markers and still many riders not wearing helmets, but you can't police everyone. Other than that, the pie plates with the distance markers was a nice touch. and the Ribbon arrows were hard to miss. My wife and I were very tired because we had a great time. The trail was challenging in places and damn near impassable in others which just added to the adventure. Thanks again for all your hard work, we will putting this event on the calender for next year. ;)

thanks:)

and yes I knew the beginning was not marked out that great.. That part will be changed for next year. Friday last minute tey change the beginning . There actually wasn't that much road.

I did say helmets were mandatory and your right we can't police everyone:)

We are keeping our dates as close as possible, but for sure last Saturday of April!!

also people just a BIG HUGE REMINDER!! There are always ways around everything. There was no need to be cutting fences. Some of these lands are leased we borrowed an we pay for the damages if we can't fix them.

Also the fire someone started on the side of the road.. Please!! Pleas!!!! Be careful next time these are farmers lively hoods!!! And thank you to the Quaders behind them that was putting it out!!!

this is how rallies start canceling and we don't want that for ours

This was my first and most definitely not my last rally. It was an experience for sure, seemed well organized for what and where it was. had a few nervous spots as my RZR isn't snorkelled and hadn't been tested in that deep of water but i was also lucky enough not to break through the ice where some others did. Right after rescuing a buddies Honda out of the mid rally swamp hole we cleared the area just as a RZR4 was coming up...we tried to warn him but he was in to his windshield, next rally i'll bring a camera.

Thanks again to everyone who made it happen

I wish I could say you were welcome, but we were very close to last due to some breakdowns and overheating( told Robert that he needs a rad relocate) What moron started a fire? Didn't recall any cut fences, too bad that some children can't respect the farmers lands. You are right though. that is how rallys get cancelled.

image.jpg Idk who started it.. If I did I don't think I would allow them back in our trail next year..

I was just thankful other people put it out. It was once you got onto the gravel road after the half way point.. Lucky it wasn't a big fire especially after all the wind storm we had for half hour..

crazy I tell ya

Anyone have a program for photo reductions? all my shots are 5 MB and won't load. Got some great shots of Mike freezing his um er um lower manly bits!

I find the easiest way to do it is right click 'em and Send to Outlook. You'll then get prompted to resize them. I then drag them out of the e-mail onto my desktop.

I certainly appreciate the sentiment, but you definitely don't have to post those! :D

Too late, I already posted a good one of you on Sunday. Gawd, I don't know how you made it through the rest of the rally soaked like that! ...tough son-of-a-b.

So I pulled up the Garmin data==the entire trail was 89 kms. I think we missed a section at the 26km marker so the length could have been longer. Great trail though. I don't think any one knew how much water was going to be there. Thanks Dean, TylerGs little trick did the job well I think.

excellent ride considering the spring were having, loved the distance, little further than the 75km they claimed lol (98.5 to be exact). but the after ride thing was dissapointing, having to pay for supper after shelling out 40 bones? wtf. every other quad rally ive been to, the supper is free and like 20-25 buck entry fee idk. and the prizes could have been drawn for while rally was on and tape the ticket on the prize, then when we come in just walk through the stuff and check your number, or write all the winning numbers down on a big sheet of paper, etc. not bitching, just trying to help, once again, great ride and we will likely be back next yr thx again

We thought of that, but some rallies we have been to have showed cheating, meaning all the locals got the big prizes. So we decided that having most everyone there and someone else picking the prizes would show honesty. And that's what we aim for is honesty and we will not be changing how the prizes go. The door prizes will be picked before hand though..

also keep in mind again we only have 6 of us and we haven't had any big money sponsors either...

thanks

He doesn't own the bike anymore he sold it toward the end of last summer. So that would have been its new owner ripping it around.
