Hi guys,
Currently working on a 2005 BF 750 on which the belt light won't reset-- actually it will reset until I crank over engine to start, then belt light comes on again. Occasionally, it will stay off for 2-3 test starts then will come on again. Actuator switch is always still in the "on" position. The quad does not actually have the correct battery on it, which is only about 1/2 the CCA that the proper one has, but is brand new. Is it possible that a voltage draw when starting, trips the belt light?? After about 40 tries, I'm looking for advise. Am also willing to bypass the belt switch, but simply putting a jumper across the switch wires doesn't work, so is there another method? Thanks for any advice you can give.
