In them hills.
I’ve been sledding silent for 20 years...the problem these days is that it gets tracked out immediately the day it snows. We had a 60cm day last week. It was all tracked out by 1pm.... nobody use to ever go there. The deep lasted all week...unfortunately as the sport grows so does the usage.....
Like that everywhere.
New sleds get around too good.

Yep
If 80% of the sleds had rubber band 121 inch tracks and 75hp this wouldn’t be a problem . Like years ago ?
The other 20% had plastic paddles and 136 inch long tracks .
Waited for spring and cement conditions to explore and get into areas .
Very few killed in avalanches though ?
Good times

Yup. Dad comes with us and says man this much snow we would spend all morning just to get to the cabin. Now we do 150km in a day on handlebar deep stuff. Way less work

Anybody have any updates on golden conditions?

trail was excellent in and out. Was hard to see so there is lots left when the sun comes out it’s the place to be

How is the road into silent. Do they log there on the weekends?

I should have said it is slippery there was a truck in front of us that thought it was fun to drift every corner on the way up

Road wasn’t bad, not to icy. Groomer came by and softened up the road up at the turn around, many thanks to the great guys Friday night who helped pull my stupid ass out of the soft shoulder.
