Met up with fellow quads.ca member DR800 and his friends Rick and Heather. We had a great day quading, the fishing was lame, but all in all a awesome day. Lots of technical riding.

Still looks pretty green around there, good to see. I was up Greystokes about 6 years ago, nice place to ride. Too bad the loop trail isn't open. Did you guys go down towards Christian valley? Thinking of camping past Westbridge and heading back towards Kelowna that way on quads.

i read that it is a protected area (wildlife/ watershed) and outside of snowmobiles in the winter, motorized vehicles are prohibited up there. Any thing up there indicating otherwise as i would love to ride up there as well before the snow flies

Great Pics! Looks like an awesome day in a such a great place for quadding and sight seeing but.... That area is a no motorized vehicle park area. Sleds only and trail maintenance personnel from the Snowmobile Club "with permission". I ventured in as far as Loch Long last year decided I'd pushed it far enough. Don't get caught in there on your quads! Apparently the fines are quite substantial. Thanks for the pics though.

Nothing like posting pictures of yourself committing a crime!:d In my books it's a crime we can't quad in that area but sooner or later the Dingbats would be up there tearing the He!! out of everything.

you can quad along the main trail too and from the main chalet and the Hilton....you are not aloud to go past the hilton (tward the burn) and complete the loop. Look out for Grizzly bear up there. Two hunters had to shoot two young grizzly's that charged them while they where gutting a deer up there two years ago.....and just this past summer a friend ran into a big boar at the base of Moore mountain.

It is a super nice area to quad in the summer!! just don't get busted in the closed areas!!!

Yes just like he said we stayed on the main roads for the most part and did not tear up any of the meadows.I too snowmobile up there and know the area very well.It was originally the guys in the modded trucks with the super swampers that wrecked it for the rest of us.I have also met a few guys that come thru from cherryville via the haggert trail which puts them right on the fS road in the burn

Only in two of your 8 pictures do you appear to be on the trails. I'm not trying to B!tch you out but we can be our own worst enemies by going into protected areas and not playing by the rules....and then posting pictures of yourself doing it.??? I agree it's the Dorks with the Monster Mudders who tear everything up but off roaders in general are all getting painted with the same brush these days.
