What would be the largest tire size I can run without doing to many mods? The bike is currently stock but I need to put new rubber on it. Looking at buying a tire and rim package. Maybe a lift kit if needed. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

if it has warranty still, i beleive 27s are the largest you can go without voiding it, ask your dealer though.

Yes it still has warranty But that doesn't bother me. I am more concerned with clearance and not having to clutch.

well and clearence too... with my 27's the rears can rub the fenders sometimes and for some reason i have problems with inner tierod ends all the time... but i think that its the allballs rod ive been using.... they keep loosing off even with castle nuts and cotterpins.... i think they keep streching the threads and thats how the get loose....

Do they rub the fuel tank as well?

I don't think he "needs" a clutch kit for 27" and under, hell I have a second 660 rhino at the farm that is stock with 27" mudbugs and it does just fine,. and it's 500lbs heavier than that 750BF

Not sure bout that, why would dealers be selling them with aftermarket tires and rims? The dealer I bought mine off didn't say anything anyway.

Cause its not the dealers....its the manufactures. In the small print its clearly states any modifcation to oem voids warrenty. With 27" i would recomend the clutch kit......you do loose bottom end with them and the clutch kit helps get it back. I have seen the manufactures not warrenty issues for less. Im just giving you the heads up!

I don't care about the warranty. I will cross that bridge when and if it is needed. Like most off road toys, your warranty is only as good as your dealer.

^so true. In all reality the clutching wouldn gain some bottom end, but my bet is even with stock clutching and 27s you'll be able to pull a wheelie no problem so how much more bottom end do you want? Put it in low range if your really concerned. Not once have I needed more bottom end with my kvf 700 with 26 inch zillas... My .02 :)

Don't need a whole clutch kit, put a maroon EPI spring in your primary. It will put a smile on your face!:)

This maroon spring you speak of. Would it be the same as a maroon EPI spring for sled?

Check out nyrocatv.com as well, lots of info on the kingquad there. About the best bang for you buck performance wise is to send your clutch out to have the coop45 mods #2 and#3 done to is. Lowers your gearing by 30%, easier on the wet clutch and belt, and increases you engine braking. Also, no top end speed is lost either. I am sending mine out in the next few days, can let you know how much of a difference it makes. I have 27" tires right now, and would like the extra gearing.
