Going to continue this https://www.snowandmud.com/the-mud-pit-chat/113852-18-ranger-2.html thread here.
It has ~4500 miles on it now. Used it day and night calving out cows.
Have had to replace 3 tires, 2 in back and 1 in front. They all got cuts in the sidewalls.
The 4 wheel drive quit working and it displayed a code. The dealer had to replace part of the wiring harness by the alternator.
The centrifugal clutch isn't releasing well. The dealer has had it apart and cleaned it, and we have as well. It works good for a couple of days, and then you end up shutting it off a lot to get it out of gear. One of our guys tried adding a shim, it didn't help. Dealer said others are having this problem and waiting for a fix from Polaris. Seems as if their "improved" clutching could have used some more real world testing.
Dealer got the AC working once, sort of, but it isn't working as of now. Seems to not have freon in the system, would be my first guess.
