My buddy lives on maple way in the northwest and there is a ton of it laying besides the tracks if many numbers doesn't come through.

watch out for rail police? they don't like seeing their iron going missing! just sayin!

check a few scrap yards, industrial reclaimers, or go get a solid 4x4 inch x 8-10 inch length of steel at a supply yard, might cost less in the long run?

Look at Princess Auto..
Was in there today and they had some for sale. It is in the flyer also.
I thought it was 99 bucks.
Cheaper than rail cops catching you. lol
