The water pumping company we use have had excellent results with the defender .
They put it through the mill with tracks on it and terrible conditions.
They have other brands also but don't stand up.

Yeah the tracks kill some of the other machines , running gear just don't stand up on them I hear ...

How tippy do you think that would make it?

Rule of thumb ,I go buy 3 " up , so 3 " wider ( apx)
So a set of after market rims and tires will give you that ...
On my ranger I was at close to 20" of GC , it was tippy .. too tippy for serious off camber trails ...but not sure on the defender .
A 3" and 30's though would be fine , that's not crazy by any means ..I would guess .
