I bought a 2016 wolverine. I'm going with 28"zilla tires, do you guys think I need to go with a clutch kit, and I mean the wet clutch kit. If the answer is yes, would u need it if I go with 27" zillas?
You will probably be OK without clutching, but it can be really hard on the wet clutch if you don't use low gear as necessary. Clutching will give you an amazing bang for your buck! I recommend to anyone with a 700 to get their primary sheave machined and fixed plate machined - Airdam Stage 2. It cost me about $230 through Rapid Revolutions and they quite often have one or two already done, so all you have to do is trade yours in.
Edit: About 30 seconds after writing this a friend just messaged me. He went to Rapid for one of these and was told Airdam is out of business. There's another guy who supposedly does a really good job of machining, but I can't remember who he is off the top of my head. I'll reply back if I find his info again.
is the "other guy" STM?
Well, it looks like a epi clutch kit, 3" snorkels, including a blower on belt intake, and 2" highlifter lift. Anything else?
28" zillas on 212 itp rims. Coors banquet is a good beer.
