Howdy folks,

Time again to dust off the trails and fire up for the season. We got 1-10 inches of snow today West of High Level. A hardy few folk have been out over the last few weekends and have done an admirable amount of work. They replaced a bridge broken last fall before our season started.

They have cleared deadfall from two warm up shelter sites. They have cleared deadfall from some kilometers of trails. They have cleared deadfall and new growth from the dreaded "no CAT access area between bridges 2 and 3.

They have done a little sign work with the rehabilitation of our trailhead signs and of course repairing the regular signs.

What a great start. Thanks folks!!!!

Our 1st attempt at this years AGM fell through. People were busy. Well we are gonna do 'er agin!

Thursday October 9, 2014 at 7:30pm at the Town of High Level offices.

Memberships (ASA TRAILPASS) available now or at meeting.

Hope you can make it.

good luck. Your trails are worth the effort to get them up and going again. Rode them before and I will ride them again

Thanks.

Yup they are and hope you will!

I have had serious electronic issues lately. Lost my internet service (rural, iffy at best), and both my laptop and phone crashed on me, but we're back for now.

The Wanderers are here. Some new faces out and some former faces back. We have cleaned up the main trail quite a bit, done a bunch of fixing on the groomer, and have arranged the first couple of inches of snow :d . -14 here today so we'll be able to access some of the wetter areas soon and do some more trail work. Hopefully firm up the beaver dams for a change. A fair bit of the groomer work was related to past adventures in wet areas so it would be nice to avoid that for a while.

For those further away, plan a trip this year...February and March are best as the sun starts staying around longer. For those closer please join up. We are a very few with a big trail system so we could always use help, but our goal is to get and keep you riding. Watch our webpage and facebook page for ride info as we hope to have some 'come out and ride' events this year....just for the fun of getting out there. And don't forget....a few km West of High Level at our first firepit there is usually a gathering Thursday or Friday nights for Potluck ribs and good times!
