at 270 dollars for the 531 belt a feel like there is probably something cheaper ? . Does anybody have any experience with some of the aftermarket belts ?

The ultimax xs belt is awesome - I order them online and they last - 2000kms 7lbs boost and still looks new

Gates carbon belts. Been running them for a few yrs. they take a beating. 160 a belt

Ultimax xs821 - I had to drop the gates g-force belt like a dirty shirt - wouldn't last 1000 kms under 7lbs - probably fine for a stocker

I second the ultimax. Much cheaper and seem to outlast the brp belts.

PBX from CV Tech is working well, less than 200 bucks & a 1 year wtty. Compound is very similar to Ski Doo belt. First year using them, got fed with lack of availability, hi price & zero wtty.
