Also is there another staging area to access the triangle on the hiway to Carson lake. Or along hiway 43 between the casino and Fox Creek ?

I don't believe it is a "proper" staging area. But we have parked off to the side of Eagle Tower Road. Fairly close to Grundys cabin.

Never had an issue parking there

yesturday , I rode from Goat creek to Tom Hill cabin via Shinning Banks , the did the Goodwin lake loop to airport then ditch bang back to staging area .

this is likely the last weekend to have a descent ride out there ... as some of the hill are already bare and muddy , the ditch needed a bit of water skipping but the trail to Tom Hills is in prime condition ....didn't had any isue overheating or melting hyfax at all (but i have that ported track that is forgiving) , still kept my scratcher down just in case ...

got to say the groomer did a awsome job going to Tom Hills , the closer to the cabin the better the snow is in the cut lines and meadows ....it's near eastern quality trails at the moment .

the north side of the goat fsr is getting most of the south side hill muddy tho

Still great riding out there on the trails south of Whitecourt. Group of us rode from Groat Staging area to Tom Hill Tower cabin with a few detours off trail where we even managed to get a few machines stuck playing in the trees... 2-1/2' of snow in the bush still. We have snow in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday - might get one more ride in! ! !

Oh and a few club members were out yesterday to remove the porch roof that failed at the Summit cabin. Thanks Jeff & Derek. Rebuild will take place in time for next sled season.

terrible, not enough to ride, might have better luck up by swan

Damn, too bad. Thanks for the update. Hoping to get out tomorrow, might have to try swan hills. The city is getting a pretty good dump today so hopefully the surrounding areas get some too.

Athabasca was reporting decent trail conditions and they’re getting a good dump today as well. Think I’m heading their tomorrow with the kids.

Glen and Don are out grooming today near Flatbush. I'm sure Glen would welcome your company tomorrow Mike
