Rip to the rider caught in the avalanche.

I was the guy in the hillclimb when Marshall and crew came over from the south east. We adjusted my chain that was very loose over 8 turns. We're you in that group. Snow was great jn there
So sorry to hear this RIP

Yes one of those guys were me. Snow was really good, way better than what I was expecting.

We rode Clemina today. Started in goat ridge about 8" new snow in there. Many riders playing there. Then made our way into the south side of lakeview. Only a few in there. About 12-14" of new snow there and as I headed eest it got deeper. Lyle was having some sled issues so didn't venture any further. Cut some wood under the cabin then started bringing it it. Walked by many sitting outside with full arms of wood a few times. Brought it all in myself as I guess no one can offer assistance to help people these days.
Bluebird sky's all day. A bit chilly, ended up with frostbite on my cheeks again.
Have the Munster finger throttle on my sled, am finding this easier with my screwed up hand.
I have never seen the cabin busier ever.
Seen a few sleds being pulled out.

Morning all, winter is back and the conditions have been excellent. Headlight deep in parts of Clemina yesterday and reports from Chappell are saying handlebar deep. You can never go wrong with a trip to the highcountry.

The Allan Webcam is a good place to look, but remember that it is a complete windtunnel and is not a true representation of the snowfall. Often when we get snow storms, they are accompanied by wind. A good mountain rider, knows where to find the transported snow. Seek and ye shall find.

Ride safe
