Totally agree, and if we do have a knife it's in it's way to corrupt Ukraine. That's nice to tell our enemies!, not that we would fire on them anyhow... So that's maybe why we didn't shoot them down before, doesn't have anything to do with gas mileage. Pride parades are more important than Canadian security to the thing that's in charge.

What good is a fighter jet if it can't shoot down another airborne object? Do the pilots carry a Pail of rocks to drop???

I think what's most concerning is how far some of these balloons made it over the continent before they were detected.

The US has technology to track and defend from ICBMs, but a simple balloon can make it deep into the country without detection.
