the same sort of thing just came on Trout Lake up south of Revy the other day. They’ve been scheming this for a while I think

The government is channeling their Y2Y friends and moving on the trout lake area.

Closing down the road to Foggy Day and mentioned consulting “stakeholders” but didn’t contact a single resident, club member, or mining claim holder. Caribou people had a conference call with with the snowmobile club and didn’t mention a thing.
Word is their plan is to keep moving their closure area west and that will close Rue-de-Beau as well.
CMH was told but didn’t pass on anything to locals
Had to hear about it from another club

Could definitely use a few calls or emails to the MLA and government officials mentioned in the copied thread.

Don’t know if this is how to link threads

Besides the feedback program for the Pinepass... there is also a petition started by the BC Snowmobile Federation @ Change.org. Just search winter motorized rec management plan in the South Peace. Don't forget to share this info. Thx.

So... looks as though these idiots might be looking for a different resolution up here in the North! The BC Government has now released a Predator Reduction Engagement at engage.gov.bc.ca/caribou/. I suggested we open season on predators and if people really want this "iconic species" around, they start penning them up like at the freak'n Zoo! Go give yer feedback!
