Tree bashing bumper idea

Had some time on my hands since It rained and couldn't harvest so I built dies to bend the tubing and tried it out.
Gonna have to cut another piece and build myself a complete bumper.

Something different anyway. And stronger than the poo one. The tree magnets seem to destroy a bumper per mtn trip lol. Hoping this solves it

The next weakness is where the bumper bolts on in the back, those tabs break easily. I cut mine off and built some custom ones out of steel which I bolted to the shock bolt and it is very good now.

I'm going to build it so they attach like a b&m bumper . Tab is busted off on mine from last incident lol
Think I'm going to skip the rear cross brace to start with and see.

Finally got the first one to my liking. Few small changes for next one
Beef up the Center tab a little bit and prob tig weld it instead of spool gun

Your bumper is a consumable part if you build it to strong you're gunna break the next weakest link which could be your bulkhead to tunnel brace. I bent mine last year from a beefy bump..just my opinion

What bumper were you using ?
This is still a consumable bumper. .125 wall 1" pipe and same with the sq tube.
