I have insurance do i also need registration?

Insurance and Registration are mandatory to ride within Parkland County, however the club cannot enforce it. If you are stopped by the RCMP or Parkland County patrol, the ticket(s) will be yours to deal with.

Just to let you know the registration and start of the rally has been moved to the Staging Area south of Seba Beach. Check out the Trail Seekers website for the new info. There is also a map and directions on how to get to the Staging Area.

heh no problem. if you keep going south on hwy 759 you will see the signs to the staging area. i am thinking i may go for 9:30 as well as might get tight in there after a few peeps show up. could ride from home but ditches will be brutal at that time of morning with this warm spell and the rain.

So it turned out to be not a bad day. It was snowing when the rally started. A bit windy as well. The trail was well groomed with some fresh snow on top, enough to keep the sliders and the sleds cool. When you ventured off the trail there was areas it was up to 2' deep. I got a pic of the RCMP stuck, by the time I had my camera pulled out they already got out. Thanks to the people who put this on, you did a good job. There was one detour that was a bit sketchy for some folks, I think they shut that down after I mentioned to the one guy that that was dangerous. Otherwise it was good. Seen a few familiar faces, couldn't find them though, guess I went to fast. The RCMP were stopping people at the end. They were quite friendly and informative. Here are some pics.

Here are a few more. The RCMP was in the field stuck, lol. It was fun going home, First a semi lost the bulldozer on the westbound lane, just happened, he was just backing up as I was going by. Then a Semi jackknifed. The roads were slick.
