$20 per person, 2 hour Seminar - Avalanche Accidents 2008-2010
Are there Patterns to Prevention?
Many people want to know... what is happening? Why are so many snowmobilers getting caught in deadly avalanches?*

Hind sight is always 20/20. Looking back over the last couple seasons were there signs or actions that could have helped to avoid or reduce the extent of these accidents?
* What made the snowpack so weak?
* Will it happen again?
* What can I do to prepare?

Red Deer & Saskatoon. The Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association have joined the Alberta Snowmobile Association and Zac's Tracs to invite CAA Professional Member, Alison Dakin, to share her insights into these tragic years.

*Profit from a professional guide’s expertise* to discover the range of choices we have available each and every day, in each and every riding area.
Alison has been hands-on in the avalanche industry for over 20 years. As the past owner operator of Golden Alpine Holidays, a chain of three back-country, heli-accessed lodges, she learned the fine balance of fun versus consequence in terms of large groups in avalanche terrain.

Pre-register or just pay at the door. $20/p

Attended the Awareness Seminar in Calgary last night - was a great evening - good attendance and great questions and discussions. Thanks to the Zacstracs gang for all their involvement and efforts. Let's get out there and sign up and support their efforts everyone. If it's not worth you spending $20.00 for valuable knowledge, I hope you never are faced with a situation where it would have helped.
Knowing how to prevent putting yourself in a bad situation is PRICELESS!
