Anyone know of a place in the east koots to program a Motorola portable with all the more commonly used freq that the rhyno's and whatnot use?

I don't need the rr's as I already have a radio programmed for those.

I could be wrong but that Motorola is probably UHF only so unable to communicate with the common consumer radios. The Baofeng is dual band.

You might be right. I wasn't sure which band those radios were.

That said this one is pretty much useless to me so does anyone need a radio just for their local RR channels? Comes with a 110 volt and a 12 volt charger and a pelican case. I'll trade straight across for one of these baofeng's or something similar.

Uhf or vhf. We run motorola at work. Vhf. Other fire departments run uhf.
We program our own radios
Look on antenna

We switching to Afracs this winter
They are expensive radios

Does anyone know if/ how much these BaoFengs interfere with a beacon? Definitely interested in the radio, but I'd much rather a working beacon than a working radio.

I know Glentel or White Communications can program if you have what you need. Frequency numbers etc.
Sure.
But I don't think I can communicate with the fmrs radios though can I? I'm not a radio nerd. All I know is push button and talk.
