TCSC had a very good year for Trail Maintenance.
There were lots of volunteers this year sitting around the breakfast table but then we put them to work.
Everyone chipped in clearing fallen trees and branches.
Once the trails were cleared it was time to test the ice depth by drilling many many holes and found 6-8" of ice on the ponds and lakes.
Perfect as we need 5" if good ice for sleds to travel on the ice.
The early snow at the first of November actually did not help us at all as it insulated the ground and ice from freezing early and properly.
But if did freeze by Dec 3 when the Ministik gates opened.
