T3 Bent drive shaft

Anyone have this issue? 8 kms on the sled and recently out of a local shop.
Not my sled, but If this is an issue mine will be going in before I go to the hills!!

Anything with a rolled case and the drivers protruding below the tunnel is vulnerable to a hit. That sled bounced off a rock right up the centre I bet.

those arent the stock drivers. either it took a hit on the shaft or something went sideways on the driver installation. this is the same shaft and drivers skidoo has been using for many years without issue ( except 2008) and in theory it is 20mm closer to the snow now so it is more vulnerable. not much you can do about it though?

They look like 8 tooth drivers also.
Hang down even further.

8000km on the sled already?

in any event that is havoc on all the rivets on the tunnel, let alone the chaincase, bearings, and seal. I wouldn't even drive that thing until it is repaired.

But how? Looks like cogs lineup with Windows. Do you think they pressed the shaft itself too hard and it buckled?

Being bigger drivers they have been hit while sled was in use would be my guess .
Hanging below belly pan.

Those are claw style they only drive off Center and inner cog the ones he built us drive off both sides
