Spare tire size

Pretty quiet around here lately! Spring will be here soon hopefully!
Anyways i'm going to carry a spare for the sxs this year and have a set of used 29" tires but run 28's on the buggy. Will it bugger anything up if I have to throw the spare on being a smidge bigger? Probably overthinking this but who knows?

It's generally bad to do that but would probably be ok in a pinch. A worn 29 is probably very close to a new 28 you could throw a tape measure on and check. If they are different I would be tempted to only put it on the front and run in 2wd if you are going very far. Ie get a rear flat rotate a front back and put the spare on the front.
