Snowmobile selection?

I am new to sledding in western canada. Looking to buy a skidoo and can’t decide what to buy, I would like to 2up with my wife from time to time. Thinking of a skidoo backcountry or a summit. Want to ride most around Whitecourt area. Can I 2 up a summit on trails? I see very little used selection for anything but summits in AB.

It can be done, but a summit isnt a great 2up machine.

Probably be better off to look in Saskatchewan or something for a proper 2up sled.

You can get a two up seat for a summit, the hang up will be the track and the ski stance unfortunately.

If your doing 90% whitecourt, absolutely no need for a summit go with the renegade back country or even the expedition, expedition come with a 2 up seat, the summit will be tippy doubling, renegade has the wider stance, that would be what I would go with.
