This probably has been asked before but i was just wondering what would be a safe too high end motor temp to run when riding in marginal snow conditions i have a 2018 MTX 162
It will go into limp mode when it gets to hot. Maybe 100 c ? im not exactly sure on what temp it will cut power . Not to worry as all those short tunnel no flap guys will be overheated well before u.
Yes, I think it starts to cut power around 100C...my daughter did this on Sunday riding the crowsnest. It's got to be pretty bad trails (like dirt) to overheat. My 16 Summit overheats much quicker!
