I drew in yellow what looks like that other trail with the long hill Moe was hoping to climb.

Heading back to the Ruby Falls area. I was given a GPS map before my first trip out there. There are 3 more flagged areas I'd like to check out.

Will be meeting a friend in Edson. Still working on the details. We picked Aug 21st. Probably aim for Edson around 730am.

If interested let me know.

Figured we'll run that one trail indicated in the yellow circle. The come back. Top up and run to Ruby Lakes and falls. (Mike hasn't seen them yet)

I did it with 3/4 tank used but I always pack fuel. there is some deep holes in middle of trail about 1km straight stretch. I went around but shouldnt be too bad for you guys. do any of you have a garmin gps? I can send you my trail map.

We will be up there 14th to the 21st. Haven't been there for 2 years. We camped by the McLeod River and got flooded out. It was our go to summer spot. Looking forward to getting back there.

I''m working at about km 30 on the elk river right now, it's beat to piss pretty bad (ruts from semis) from what I could tell on my midnight cruise.
On paper it looks faster, but I think going south from edson might be better.

There is a pretty sweet campground/river at km60 i think in the elk river road.
Wish I could escape and meet up with you fellas :(
