unloaded at parking lot, rode up to cabin, 2ft at cabin. Went to the right and straight to the top, maybe 2.5 ft at top.

I just Spoke with Shankster, and BigIQ? they said there was about 2 1/2 feet up top going right from the cabin in Quartz. There is still rocks to watch for but they said the sleds ran good and had some fun anyways. They are there again today riding so I should have some more info tonight!!:d

hey guys

anyone have a link to some maps or directions to the quartz staging area?
is it right off the hwy (to the left) on the way to Revy?
never been

we need to head out somewhere to break in new engines
honestly some trail riding and whatever is fine
e have our annual Revy trip for Nov. 20, and want everything to run smooth for that trip

any help is much appreciated

Easy to find the staging area.... On the left side of the highway heading from Golden to Revy. Close to the top of a big hill after the bridge... Well marked, look for the sign.

Google maps has it as 42 kms out of Golden

this may seem a little long but copy and paste it into your adress bar and should show you exactly where the staging area is, how far from golden, and you can zoom in quite nicely on the staging area itself.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr=HWY-1&daddr=golden+bc&hl=en&geocode=FbiXEQMdNJoB-Q%3B&mra=ls&sll=51.484804,-116.878052&sspn=1.518823,3.515625&ie=UTF8&ll=51.484724,-117.331281&spn=0.011866,0.027466&t=h&z=15

You may have to zoom out a bit to see it, marker A should be quartz staging and marker B is Golden

Spoke with BigIQ? just a minute ago, and him and Shankster rode yesterday at Quartz and said it snowed all day long!! Another 10inches of fresh, he said in places the snow was coming over the hood!! So he put the snow count at 2 feet of light base and 2 feet of fresh POW BABY!!!:d

heard that the creek crossings on the trail are a little sketchy at best. can't hurt to try though.
