This needs to get reposted in the snowmobile thread and every towns mountain condition report page.
People not getting it. Stay away, communities try to tell us.
And then people cry when govt steps in, gee wonder why.
People not getting it and the few that can ride from their homes promoting more to come does not help.
More exposure during travel before or after is jus that...more exposure.
You all that insist on spreading Covid19 have officially been told to stay away by the nice people of McBride.
Really, what does it take to sink in for some??????

also you need to remember that S&R is being affected. get hurt, you will be at risk of a possible longer wait or possibly having to self rescue. cabins and b&b are closed no place to eat and drink. stay home.

Could thin the heard that way. And just leave them.
Tell straight up ahead of time there will be zero search and rescue efforts made during this time.

well with no groomed trail that is most likely the case for a ground rescue. I am pretty sure the pilot wouldn't let anyone in his bird as they are not big enough to space 6 feet apart. stay home we are CLOSED!!!!!

This is simply having respect for the people that have made Mcbride home and service us when we ride and respect for the family and friends you could bring this ugly disease back home too. Think of it in terms of your elderly parents and or grandparents, sisters, brothers etc. It's just common sense. One months riding is not a lot of time out of our lives.

What does locals not riding have to do with you or anyone else bringing this disease to Mcbride. Riding is not a rite.

McBride begs sledders to come spend money.
Has no real industry outside tourists coming.
It's not like they have 7 sawmills, 3 pulp mills, a dozen wineries, or such.
Now a few people have decided to complain about sledders coming to ride.
Business owners want the business.
If a few don't like it they should stay home. If they stayed home, they have no chance of human contact.
So instead of complaining...practice what you preach. And be damn thankful to the people who spend their hard earned money there, because the town needs it.
If you don't like seeing people outside, shut your drapes!
