We didn't really pack it in but we took it into the backcountry. Following the above, we packed it out the pieces/threads instead of leaving it in the bush. Just doing our part!
4000 km on a stock belt and that baby disintegrated at WOT. A lot of varied riders in the three year life of that belt; an ol' fart doing meadows and trees in Fernie for a season, my wife doing mostly meadows and mellow trees in Fernie/Shuswap for two years, and one of our 40 year old sons taking occasional days on it. No doubt the better half would have been able to get 6-8000 km on that belt but that is history now.
