Mmmmmm....are sleds getting to light weight???? Maybe just speculation but when you engineer to save on weight there's always a bit of a trade off.

We have a trip planned for Feb 2-7, staying at Smokey Bear. What are conditions like at Frisby and Boulder? How are the highways coming from Calgary?

Is it fairly safe to ride or are there a lot of possible avalanches? Any areas in particular to stay away from?

Thanks!! I really appreciate any info. My crew wants to head to Yellowstone if it's not safe in Revy. I would rather ride Revy though!!

The rider (not Powder Puff, but Jason LaRoy) landed and a tree was buried in the snow. It went thru a window in the track and tore it apart... Jason LaRoy knows how to grab air, and brake!!

I'd have to say the Saturday in Boulder was the best conditions I've rode in 2 years. First in, foot of fresh. Bit cloudy at first afternoon was clear.

Wow I missed a good one Great pics.
Some fresh snow muzzy and gibsons and then sun for the wk. 11 ft. at cabin
There have been reports of a lot of moose using the lower trails on Frisby and Boulder with the snow is so deep in the valley now.
Don`t approach the animals!!!!!!!! Stop and let them move on. Some are aggressive and really BIG.
