Sorry but Old Man winter just isn't co-operating with the snow. Only 2-21/2 inches on the ground thru our trail system. Trails are not yet open and no grooming or lake marking has been done. We re-signed our trail system this fall , right from Barrhead to Misty Ridge and the trail to and around Goodridge Lake.
The trail to Flatbush is marked well and the only portion that needs more signs is north of the cabin thru the fields on the way to the Trans-Canada Trail. I am hoping to get up there thru Xmas or the new year and complete them. There may be need to open a few gates west of the cabin now that the cattle are gone. If you come from the south stay along the fence as the landowner requested. Thanks

Thanks for the update we will be working on the TCST from Flatbush to Swan Hills over Xmas. We may have to meet up one weekend for a ride

Good to here about the improvement in signage, it was lacking as we got closer to the Goodridge cabin last year. There was some head scratching and time spent with a GPS and a map to locate the trail and cabin. However we had a good time and the sleds were sniffing fumes on the way back to Barrhead at the end of the day. We enjoyed it enough to put the Barrhead club on our trail pass purchases at the sled show.
