Currently 41 entries are confirmed for the Daytona 500. Jimmie Johnson with Legacy Motor Club, Travis Pastrana with 23XI, FRM confirmed Zane Smith late last year, Kaulig just confirmed Chandler Smith, and Austin Hill will be in the 62, plus the other 36 chartered entries. Helio Castroneves is still looking for a ride (possible the money team). 2 will qualify on speed, the other 2 have to make it in with the duels. So there will be driver(s) going home. Will be an interesting Thursday of speedweeks.

I’m all for gas powered engines & noise. But ever been Bristol race, the noise never goes away. 3 hours of open headers gets to a person. Can’t talk anyone, Talladega is awesome cause roar goes away 50 seconds & back again. Indy is cool track as can see them coming into turn 4 & roar building up start/finish line them into 1. But is nothing like howel of a F1 engine.
