Why is Jet boating not allowed (illegal) in the city limits in Nenshi Town? But is legal to do so in Edmonton and Red Deer.

I thought I read you can boat it just not go to shore.

I think it has to do with the weir system east of downtown.

Maybe the new Mayor will allow jet boating in the Bow!
