Here’s my conundrum… I bought a Tesseract cargo box however due to my chopped roll cage/rad relocate and snorkel mods there is NO way it’ll drop in without pulling the afore mentioned apart,,,
If the lower front portion of the box didn’t have moulded “protrusions” I could slide er in without having to tear apart and rebuild each time i want to access the top of the engine, or a thorough cleaning…
Any “plastic welders” in the fold? Or recommendations ? Or is this a bone head idea? I’d cut and fab just have NO experience with plastic welding,,,

Polar plastics could probably hook you up as well.

Ive been looking at getting a plastic welder. They look slick and easy to use.

Just a little update,,,
And yesterday I've "learned" some plastics can't be welded,,,, The box is at "Toms" (Thankyou snopro) they will try some "test welds" .....If there is one that works I'll have to do all the fabrication/cutting/fitting then bring it back for the welding. I actually prefer this as it'll ensure I get zactly what is required,, The other "acquired wisdom",,, get the cargo box prior to doing snorkel mods and rad relocate,,,

Why not just use a heat gun and remold it to what you want.
Was a discussion at “Tom’s”, if I wanted to jus bend a square corner it’d be tough but possible,,, For what i want to accomplish given the “sculpted/formed” shape It’d be almost impossible to get uniform creases ….

why can't someone mold you a lid from scratch? might be easier

The lid is ok, the design requires the box to drop in, ,,,, It is wider than the two bed side plastics below the "back bone" portion of the cage,,,, So I have to narrow the two front lower portions of the cargo box so that it slides in as opposed to dropping in...

ok. was just a thought, you custom build a box lid, using bondo, plywood etc and then have a heat formed mold of what you come up with, could be real pricy maybe! ya give the lads at the shop a go, see what they can do!
