When will the hippies figure out Lithium-ion batteries are terrible for the environment and it is almost impossible to find someone to recycle them?

The Misinformation about ev’s and green propoganda is out of control.

Our faithful leader is jetsetting to Jamaica with his family this holiday…didn’t he just jet set to Costa Rica with his family? Carbon Tax-green energy-EV’s lies, lies lies….

Best paragraph from the article:

“To develop a good mountain snowmobile that’s electric, it’s impossible,” Boisjoli says. “Maybe in 20 years. But we cannot ignore that there is a trend out there toward greener products. We want to be a pioneer on this.”

Only a moron would buy anything electric except for a golf cart. If you buy an EV or an electric sled you are a moron.

By the time EV sleds become a thing, we will have to put wheels on them because snow will be something of the past.
I started sledding in the 70's and as the decades have gone by the snow has gotten less and winter's rideable months shorter.
Glad I got to experience what a real winter feels like, sucks to be you young folks but then you wouldn't know the difference.

overly dramatic for what it is. Its a dry year, this happens. Not saying overall climate isn't shifting, but saying "kids today will never see a real winter" just seems like a crusty old man statement. Commifornia would disagree with that statement, they just got 10 ft in the Sierra Nevada's, similar snowfalls like they used to have back in the Donner Pass Expedition days in the mid-1850's.

I've attached the snow data for the St. Leon creek station. In 2001 we had a dry year and barely made it over 700 mm of snow water equivalency, much like 2024. In 2002 we turned around and doubled that. Snow depths in mm below.

I don’t think anyone thinks it’s not real, it’s just not the climate crisis bullchit they preach, been happening for 1000’s of years, the arrogance of the govt’s around the world is so bad they think they can change something that started before people moved out of caves and stopped swinging trees

Exactly, people keep telling me we have never had a winter like this in Whitecourt before……. In 1995/96 we had a winter just like this, grass at Christmas, barely any snow, very warm. People’s memories are getting worse and shorter, a side effect of the social media plague. I remember everything

From a Geologists’ perspective, this year’s climate is just another drop in the bucket. We have seen it before and we will see it again. Get over it and move along but I sure do wish the prick would quit his “climate change bullch!t taxes/programs”.

BTW, aren’t we glad there has been a change? We’d still maybe have to avoid dinosaurs in amongst all the greenery there was one most of western Canada.

overly dramatic for what it is.
