I am looking at buying either a Honda 300 fourtrax or and Honda 450 foreman but I want to put a 4-6in lift kit on it. I have searched online and have had no success, except that I now know that it is usually a custom/ homemade lift kit. Is there any company out there that currently makes a lift kit for them? and if so how much modifying does it require to fit the custom parts? Is there a combination of different style 2 in lifts that can be combined together to achieve a 4in lift?

The issue is because they are solid rear axle machines, so to put a huge lift in you have to extend the swing arm and drive shaft, or completely convert the suspension to IRS. Turner ATV in Houston has a kit for the Rubicon I've looked into it and they want between $2500 and 3g's for the kit, install included but you have to bring your machine to them. You're better off buying a machine with IRS to start if you want to lift it like that, I would go with a bigger bore machine, but if you want small with a manual transmission you could look for a newer Yamaha Big Bear 400, IRS, manual tranny, and full diff lock.
