Holz skid advice

Have an holz skid in a nytro with arctic cat profile rails. Has third shock adjustment in it to keep rear arm from collapsing.

Sled was parked for the better part of ten years. Never did adjust or play with it while I was running sled as a daily. Bunch of the fox floats were out of air after sitting. Pulled air spigot and fed them wd40 and refilled with air. They seem to be holding air again after the seals seen some lubricant.
Just curious where base rate is on this shock. Bought skid used , have no instructions and don’t think holz deals with the snowmobile industry anymore. Looked all over can only find initial setup specs for the rear and center shock.

Skinz made a similar system called the ARC. It's defunct now as well but since it was available more recently you may be able to find setup instructions for it. I ran one but can't remember how I set it up. I want to say 30-40psi to start though.

I had a holz in my mod, If I remember correctly the evol chamber had to be filled with air before the main on that suspension, the the evol pressure was always higher then the main.
That suspension is what turned me off to air shocks, pain in the butt to keep tuned right.


Try this,
AlphaX
Front torque arm travel/Limiter strap adjustment: 5.5”-6” (measure distance from front arm to bump stop)
Front Track Shock, Float: 50 psi (after limiter strap is adjusted to spec)
Rear Track Shock, EvolX: 110psi main chamber, 150psi Evol chamber. 4 clicks in from zero on all adjusters.
(Mark says fill main chamber first, Carls says fill Evol first. Try it both ways if you want) I personally couldnt tell the difference
Approximately 3” ride height ‘loaded’ is recommended (with rider weight on machine). Up to 4” acceptable. Any more than 4” or less than 2.5” is not recommended.
Ride height is measured at the rear tunnel bracket or rear of seat.
