^^ Trudeau down 1.5 million votes from 2019 and has a minority with 31% of the popular vote, surely he‘ll get a free pass on that topic.

Liberal supporters love the EI and the hand outs. It would be nice to know the age voter base for the liber

I heard Otool is not resigning, he said he going to stick with it.
Im surprised the north and south shore of NS went to blue, with the fishing dispute there, I would of figured it would of stayed red, but maybe it was the fisherman thats fighting the natives that voted the blue in.
Maybe they are the smart ones.

Back in my sled bum days it was all self funded and friends would ask " why dont you claim EI?"

And thats a good question.

Lol,
When I lived there, I did that one winter, took the winter off, bought a race sled, and rode and raced all winter, while on EI.

BUT, It now pisses me off now that a small company can make millions fishing, and go on EI in the fall and not have to pay it back.

I think we the people need to audit this election as we should be doing anyway with all elections. Create a website where eligible voters can input their vote and contrast that against the results we see from the election. Maybe not the best idea but we need to do something where everyone can self audit the results themselves. This isn’t about Libs,CPC, PPC, NDP, Bloc, Greens, Mavericks, this is about keeping the system in check.

They want us to be hating each other so we don’t come together. Dividing the population has always been the agenda of politics and it works flawlessly. A enlightened and educated population doesn’t vote in leaders, we would be voting on singular issues alone. We the people need to take the power away from leaders as no person should be above another and making decisions for millions of people.

You should have. You give the government well over half of your money. May as well get some back.

Being the outcome is the same from this election as it was before it was called, and was not required other then by liberal greed, Turd should have to pay back from his own pocket (his scandalous earnings ) the $600,000,000.00
Plus interest and some extra dollars for putting Canadian citizens health at risk for no reason other then his own greedy benefits. Then terminated!

The CPC, needs to dig deep and examine why they are losing elections, why they are turning people off. Until then we're on the same old Merry Go Round. There definitely needs to be a total new strategy, it's obvious that PPC voters are turned off, and definitely not attracting the Liberal fringe voters in large numbers. The need for a charismatic leader is obvious, maybe a deferent party platform as Tru-d light the last 2 times has not worked. DO SOMETHING! Presently the CPC just is not getting the job done.

Simple fix. Most have phones. Even homeless. When a vote card is entered under a said name they should text that person to verify for the The vote was counted. Would be so simple for a computer to text each voter a verification

I believe you are right about a charismatic leader. Sadly in todays world of social media it is all about the image the leader projects. O'Toole doesn't come across as very "with it". If you look at the platforms the different parties put out this election there was very little difference between them. They all said they would rack up huge deficits and hand out money to just about everyone, and generally just save the world through taxation. People refuse to vote responsibly for our future generations but rather for what's in it for them right now.

This is very true , but right now conservatism as a political choice is not seen as modern urban, socially acceptable, with the folks who have the population numbers to make a difference. And that is not just in Canada.

The conservatives have the largest popular vote % ever, to not be the official govt. They are something like a million more canadians voted for the cpc than the liberals.

Good point but ,always a but , those numbers don’t equal riding wins. Big centers are where these decisions are made. And where the big money is , with the decline of o and g the big tax dollars are coming from elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong Justin and his crew are killing our values and and way of Life for those outside of the lower mainland and the rest of western Canada.

The Liberal fisheries minister lost that riding there over that.

That’s why people need to understand that the CPC is the loan soldier in a socialist fight.
PPC turns off way more supporters than the CPC does. CPC turns off the extreme Conservative thinking, and the thinking of people in the east that the conservatives are only going to support the west. The “Red Erin” unfortunately is necessary to win over the seats in the east, having the PPC in the mix now is going to continually hurt the progress of the CPC as it was very evident in the last two elections.
The PPC IMO needs to relook at their leadership and or there platform as a Conservative party. Myself as a voter, has never felt that Max would work with the conservatives, just for the fact that he ran away and started his own sandbox because he didn’t want to play in the sandbox he was apart of.
Things do have to change, if not than I foresee a continuing liberal party leadership trend in our future.
