Fundraiser for Local Paramedic

Many of you will be in McBride this weekend with your families. Here is a chance to help out a family in need. One of our local paramedics is in hospital in Vancouver battling thyroid cancer. Of course she has medical coverage, but it does not cover the expenses her family is incurring to be with her in Vancouver at this critical time. Some of you have met Suzanne as one of the responding paramedics to your emergencies on the hill. There will be a fundraising spaghetti dinner at the efree church on Saturday evening, information follows. Watch for the donation cans placed in all the stores and restaurants in town.
