We're headed up to Yellowknife this summer and wanted to do some fishing on the way but weren't sure where. Guess this makes that decision pretty easy.

Do they have boats to rent or guides? Or just towed your own up?

2 nd day we went after Walleye , took A bit of looking but we ended up having all 3 boats limit out , caught a pile . Biggest was around 4.5 , average was 3 ish. Group of Bison was walking around across the street from our motel , this bull stuck his nose friggen near in our window, kinda intimidating. Awesome trip , 2 decent restaurants , Snowshoe Inn was very nice , all the staff and locals very friendly and helpful. Mosquitoes and horseflies were horrible !

Bridge is in the background . Very impressive . We pulled 3 boats up there , didn’t see nowhere to rent anything up there .

Ya that's quite the bridge they built. It was the ferry when I was there we had a camp set up just up from the ferry dock on the yellowknife side. Nice country up there.
