There is a crappy write up that the FSA posted about last weekend at the Corbin kiosk. They said 4 guys became abusive towards the FSA employee. If someone could find it and post it here would be great. Its all over the other form sledderz

Red Light Behavior: Last Saturday around 10am at our Corbin trailhead location, 4 men approached the ticket kiosk and engaged in abusive and threatening behavior against the attendant. The riders began yelling, demanding that she take her mask off when speaking to them, and attempted to force their way into the kiosk.

Let us be 100% clear: The FSA will NOT tolerate ANY abusive or threatening behavior against staff or volunteers. All incidents will be reported to the RCMP including photos of vehicles, license plates, and now, footage collected from cameras we will be installing. If you witnessed this incident (vehicle was a cherry red truck with flat deck trailer, SK plates, riders rode Saturday as well and were part of a group of 10) please get in touch with us or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

We are truly shocked and saddened to see this type of behavior occurring out there. While the vast majority of sledders are wonderful, respectful individuals contributing to the positive momentum and image of sledding, this 1% casts a somber shadow on our entire riding community.

Please leave your personal opinions about mask wearing at home. Stop ripping down COVID awareness signage in the cabins. These things are required of us to continue to operate this season. If you don't want to remit trail fees then go ride somewhere else where there is no grooming, cabins, parking lots, signage, insurance, and land use agreements protecting your access. For more information on who authorizes collection of trail fees please see this link on our website: https://ferniesnowmobile.com/membership/

Thank you for your support on these unfortunate matters.

Jez.
Reading stuff like that really grinds my gears. Absolutely no reason whatsoever for that kind of behaviour.

Hope those clowns get caught.

How is the snow right now? Riding the next 4 days, hoping its gonna be primo!

Found some great snow Saturday and Sunday. Weather is changing...warm and wet right now in town. Could/should be good at higher elevations.

Anything lower down is gonna be wet and then it’s gonna get cold and frozen later in the week. Elevation will be your friend for the next 4 days.

Anyone brave enough to ride this coming week better bundle up. The deep freeze is here and here to stay for a good week. I will be at home keeping the wood stove going

Hey everyone! Is there any ethanol free gas stations in town? The cardlock is supposed to be supporting the FSA, so do they sell ethanol free? Also, is where do I pick up the trail passes and some maps? Or is it just easiest to purchase the passes online? Also does Coal Creek and Morrissey both end up in the same place? What's the best place to stage, and where should we head to? Looking for bowls, meadows and trees. Sorry for all the questions, but it will be our first time there and we want to make the best of it! Thanks!
